CNR offers a new fair in cooperation wit
Organized by CNR, Home&Tex opens on 14 Nov. “No room in Evteks. Participants are in the queue. We wanted to activate the potential in the sector and to raise the commercial profits,” says Ceyda Erem, chairman of CNR. Ali Sami Aydin, vice chairman of TETSIAD, Home Textile Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s association in Turkey, adds, “Developments in the Middle East brought great opportunities for us. We targeted to Egypt and Syrian markets for home textiles.”
Designed from starch with all aspects, a new fair in home textile Home&Tex is held between14-17 November at CNR Expo Istanbul. While introducing the fair to the press, Ceyda Erem, chairwoman of CNR Holding, said, “We are very excited with this project. Technical details of the fair are also important. It has been specially decorated from end to end. The trend in the world is towards standard stands. The fair will be the first in this regard. The products not the stands are important in fairs. Turkey is located at an advantageous position both in terms of geographically and commercially. We have to evaluate this carefully. We have good relations with Tetsiad. Variety of companies is coming from abroad. We expect the most visitors from Iran. Many buyers come from Russia, England, America, Germany, China and Greece. President of Tataristan comes with a buying team. We are also active in African market. There will be several events during the fair. Since there was no room in Evteks for 390 companies in the queue we decided on this fair. There are more then 100 companies on our waiting list.”
Ali Sami Aydin, vice chairman of Tetsiad, the association of home textile industrialists in Turkey, pointed out the importance of cooperation between companies and associations. He said, “The industry has 12 billion dollars of commercial volume, including the exports of 3 billion dollars and 2 billion dollars of non-registered transactions. Turkey has become a trendsetter. This is the second largest fair in the same industry after Evteks. In this fair, we have added some additional lines among products. This will be a home decoration fair. The stands will be standard. It is also important for getting shares in the Middle Eastern markets. We do not loose the Syrian and Egyptian markets. We expect that at least 2 billion dollars worth of contracts will be signed.”h TETSIAD
