Founded in 1993, Altıparmak Ambalaj combines more than three decades of industry experience with a strong focus on quality, reliability and customer-specific solutions. Serving the home textile, hospitality, lifestyle and packaging sectors with a broad product portfolio, the company is strengthening its international presence through digitalization, direct exports, e-commerce and new market initiatives. We spoke with Berat Altıparmak, proprietor of Altıparmak Ambalaj, about the company’s journey, product portfolio, export strategy and future goals.
Since 1993, Altıparmak Ambalaj has been a pioneer in providing premium-quality products for the home textiles and bag sectors. The company offers a wide range of solutions, including towel and bathrobe bags, beach bags, quilt bags, nonwoven bags, mattress protector bags, corded bags, piped bags, cloth promotional bags and cosmetic bags. We spoke with Berat Altıparmak, the company’s proprietor, to learn more about its products and services.
First, could you introduce yourself and your company? Could you tell us about the story behind the company’s establishment, the position it has reached today and your role within the company?
Altıparmak Ambalaj was founded in 1993 on the principles of quality, trust and honest business. The foundations of this journey were laid when our founder, Mehmet Altıparmak, entered the industry at the age of just 15. Over the years, he established his own company and transformed a small workshop into a modern production facility.
Today, we have a broad product portfolio, primarily serving the home textiles, hospitality, lifestyle, cloth promotional products and PE packaging segments. I represent the second generation. I grew up immersed in production from childhood and learned many of the processes firsthand. Now, I aim to combine this experience with an innovative outlook and place greater emphasis on digitalization, social media, e-commerce, e-exports and direct exports.
Our overarching goal is to preserve this strong legacy while elevating Altıparmak Ambalaj to a stronger position in international markets and passing it on to future generations on even firmer foundations. For us, success is not merely about manufacturing; it is about building high-quality, sustainable and long-term partnerships that inspire confidence in our customers.
Could you tell us about your product range? Which home textile products do you specialize in, and what are the key qualities that distinguish you from your competitors?
We manufacture packaging and bags for towels, bed linen, quilts, pillows, toys, cosmetics, bathrobes and beach products. Our range also includes nonwoven, corded, promotional, piped, cloth, ultrasonic and mattress protector bags, as well as acetate, cellophane and PE packaging products. We strive to be the best by offering the strongest products across all the home textile and lifestyle categories in which we operate.
What distinguishes us most from our competitors is our ability to provide solutions tailored to each customer’s needs, our reliable approach to production, our accessibility and our commitment to developing innovative, high-quality products. We always prioritize customer satisfaction and aim to establish sustainable, long-term business partnerships.

Which markets are the main focus of your export activities? What are your principal export destinations, and what steps have you recently taken to enter new markets?
At Altıparmak Ambalaj, we have been manufacturing for international markets for many years. Through our business partners, our products reach customers in various countries, particularly Germany, the United Kingdom and Russia.
In the new period, our goal is to take this experience one step further through our own corporate structure, strengthen our direct export operations and increase our brand’s visibility in international markets. To this end, we are investing in digitalization, corporate branding, social media, international trade fairs and new collaborations.
We do not want to be merely a manufacturer that exports products; we aim to become a preferred business partner worldwide, recognized for quality, reliability and an innovative approach.
How do you adapt to changing customer expectations in the industry? What investments are you making in areas such as design, sustainability, digitalization and technical textiles?
Customer expectations are evolving every day, and we follow these changes closely. Today, customers seek more than just a high-quality product; they also want aesthetically pleasing, durable and functional products that offer an excellent price-performance balance. At Altıparmak Ambalaj, we continually improve our production processes in line with these expectations and develop tailored solutions for our customers’ specific requirements.
We also regard digitalization as an important part of our growth strategy. We closely monitor AI-supported approaches to production and planning. We are becoming more active on social media and digital platforms, strengthening our corporate brand and working to reach international markets more effectively.
At the same time, we continually raise our production quality standards and closely follow innovative developments in materials and design. For us, the most important investment is building long-term, trust-based relationships with our customers and providing the solution that best meets their needs in every project.
How do you assess 2026? How is the year progressing in terms of orders, production, costs and developments in global markets? What are the most significant opportunities and challenges?
For our industry, 2026 has been a year in which cost pressures and global competition have been felt intensely. As a manufacturer that uses petroleum-derived raw materials, increases in raw material costs have directly affected our production processes.
However, we do not view this period solely as a challenge. Without compromising on quality, we are focusing on increasing efficiency, improving our production processes, advancing digitalization and positioning our brand more strongly in international markets. Our reliable production approach, customer-specific solutions and long-term business partnerships will continue to be the main factors that set us apart during this demanding period.
Despite the challenges, we look to the future with confidence, supported by our innovative outlook and steadfast commitment to quality.
What are your goals for the next three to five years? What can you tell us about your plans for new investments, capacity expansion, branding and exports?
Our foremost goal for the next three to five years is to make Altıparmak Ambalaj a stronger brand both in Türkiye and in international markets. To achieve this, we are accelerating our corporate branding initiatives, advancing our digital transformation and aiming to increase our visibility through more effective use of social media.
We want to play a more active role in e-commerce and e-exports so that we can bring our products to broader markets. By continually improving our production capacity and technological infrastructure, we will offer our customers faster, higher-quality solutions tailored to their needs.
By preserving the principles of quality, trust and honest business that we inherited from our founder, and combining them with the younger generation’s innovative vision, we aim to make Altıparmak Ambalaj a preferred company worldwide. Our objective is not only to meet today’s needs but also to leave a stronger company to future generations. With this vision, we continue to move forward with confidence.

What advice would you give to younger generations and entrepreneurs planning to enter the industry?
I am also a representative of the younger generation. I have grown up in the industry since childhood and had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field. My most important advice to young entrepreneurs is to be patient, honest, inquisitive and always open to learning. I believe it is extremely valuable to gain experience at the heart of the business and understand its day-to-day workings.
Of course, I have encountered challenges along the way, and I have worked to overcome them with patience, determination and dedication. I therefore advise them never to be discouraged by difficulties and to regard every obstacle as an opportunity to learn. They should remember that success is not a sprint; it is a marathon.
I would also encourage them to follow technology and innovation closely while remaining true to their roots and values. Whatever field they pursue, they should never compromise on honesty or ethical principles.
