Emma Bridgewater’s charming designs make a joyful leap into spring with the new Emma
Bridgewater blinds and curtain collection from Blinds 2go.
Emma Bridgewater is a renowned household name since 1984, thanks to her hand painted designs,
from the iconic Polka Dots to the quirky kitchen inspired patterns that have become modern classics.
In the new spring collection, nature inspired designs including Ladybird, Bumblebee, Sweet Peas,
Sunflower, Figs, Lemons and Garden Birds have been translated into a stylish range of window blinds
and curtains.
Emma commented “The new collection features some new patterns from our Spring collection as well
as some old favourites we enjoy bringing out of the archives. Figs for example is a pattern I love to
re-interpret after all of these years – it is as unstoppable as Jaffa Cakes! I tend to think back to my
other’s house and kitchen, which was wonderfully warm and inviting. It was informal and rather messy
but more fun than other people’s houses and I have always wanted to reproduce this. The new Bee and
Buttercup patterns are directly inspired by the increased appreciation we have for nature and time spent
out of doors. During these strange times, I have started to properly garden and have cherished my daily
walks more than ever, stopping to admire wildflowers. My love of lemons in cooking inspired the Lemons
patterns beautifully illustrated covering pottery and now blinds, which are sure to insert brightness into
any environment!”
Whether Roller, Roman Blind or Curtains, each Emma Bridgewater fabric comes with a choice of linings creating the perfect combination of practical shading and incredible style. The devotion to making the everyday a ‘little bit nicer’ is exactly what this collaboration is built on.
