The latest contract textile trends by the book: “MOTION.” Evteks Contract Trend Forum 2013.
The trend book has been made in order to provide inspiration and to contribute to innovations in the Turkish contract textile industry. The textile book provides information on trends which have been adapted and visualized according to the language of textiles. The aim of the book is to provide a tool for developing collections in a meaningful way so that your business can better
engage with its consumers and in order to further grow your brand.
For the second consecutive year, Uludag Textile Exporters’ Association (UTIB) highlighted the contract textile business and the level the sector has reached. The trend area was designed as a luxurious hotel suite, called the “Poetry Lounge”. The trends exhibited in the Trend Area were for spring/summer 2013. Contract textiles differ from home textiles in that usually a higher quality is attained to guarantee good durability. Furthermore, contract textiles have properties such as flame retardancy and stain resistance and can be antibacterial. Contract textiles are not limited to textiles only; other interior products such as marble, granite, rugs, towels and trimmings are also part of this category.
