Dina Vanelli made a habit to receive awards at international arena especially in Europe. The latest award of the company was a prestigious and respectful one given by Trevira.
For the second time Trevira invited suppliers of Trevira CS fabrics to take part in a creativity competition within the framework of the Club concept. The competition gives all fabric makers and suppliers with particularly innovative Trevira CS developments the chance to secure bonus points – and with these the right to more services. Every entrant receives a reward. This year 120 fabrics were entered and from these a panel of three experts selected 10 winning articles and 5 qualities that received special recognition. Criteria for the classification were degree of innovation, technical execution, suitability for the contract market and trend setting.
The article which brought Dina/Vanelli the recognition award was CS Linses Timothy 1-MC453, an article inspired by fashion with the appearance of a softly flowing apparel fabric in wool. The unusual pattern is based on a dull/shiny effect and a certain “hazy look”. The generously made Jacquard has a hand-made effect – elegant and extravagant. With its restrained elegance the pattern can adapt to many furnishing roles. The pleasant handle is especially noteworthy, as it emphasizes the effect of luxury. CS LINSES TIMOTHY can be used as curtain and decorative fabric for accessories in the hotel and in the upmarket residential sector. It comes in 315 cm width/height.
