19th edition of Evteks, Istanbul Home Textile Fair was successfully held. New products and collections, including the fabrics of Floxer Groups, Sertex brand that unites technology and fashion were introduced. Retro designs of the 60’ies are the recent trend in home textile industry as well as in all other fields of the life. Among the products that Sertex exhibited in the fair were joyful lux that carries inspirations of new architecture forms, nature lux that has heavier tones of earth, romantic lux that carries baroque style vintage structures, and shadow lux that reflects mystical styles.
“Technology is closely related with textile industry”, said Ilknur Tukek Omay, board member responsible for textile group and added, “Many technological trends and items enter in our daily lives and becoming more indispensable. Lives in metropolis give way to smaller spaces, where comfort is needed maximally. In line with rising standards of living, customers demand more of home textile products beyond the trend, chick and styles of fabrics. They demand more of technologically developed textile products. Our collections are promising these to our buyers. Our products do not contain phthalate, contain anti-bacterial, dmf free properties and all are made from 100 percent hydro-based dyes. We are highly keen on the health and the hygiene of the consumers. It is standard
for our products that are all have Eco-Tex ecology certificates.”
