Philippe Pasquet, the CEO of Premier Vision envisions, “With this event, Istanbul will be a center of world fashion.”
A partnership agreement has been signed for Premiere Vision of Istanbul, a new event that will be held with the support of UTIB that is supposed to attract textile professionals from Eastern Europe and the Middle East markets. The event is a joint initiative of CNR holding, a leading fair organizer in Turkey and of Premiere Vision company.
“First edition of the event will be held between 29-31 October 2014” says Ceyda Erem, chairwoman of the board of CNR fairs in the press meeting that was participated by Philippe Pasquet, CEO, Oliver Ginan, chairman of GL Events, and Ibrahim Burkay, president of Union of Uludag Exporters and also president of Bursa Chamber of Trade and Industry.
Burkay said, “These kinds of quality fairs are important for the rising of the poles in export markets for our Union that exports to more than 180 countries and region in five continent. By now, this fair, Premiere Vision was a hard to reach target for Turkish textile industry. From now on, it will be a new challenge for our exporters and for our industry to host textile professionals from all over the world in Istanbul, a city that connects Asia and Europe. We are supporting seriously the apparel sector in Turkey. Our target is to rise textile exports from 8 billion dollars up to 20 billion dollars. These events are very important for the realization of our targets.”
Philippe Pasquet said, “All sectors of professional fashion market will participate in this Premier Vision. Turkey has an important market for fashion and its textile industry is growing dynamically. CNR and its facilities are ideal for our organization. Istanbul and Turkey will be an important center for world fashion. This is not a competitive organization but a cooperative operation.”
Oliver Ginan, chairman of GL Events, expressed his trust to Turkish market and energy in Turkey. “We share our experiences in fair organization business with an aim to further Turkey’s position in world markets.”
