This year Heimtextil Russia 2013 will present national pavilions of Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, China and, for the first time at Heimtextil Russia, pavilions of India and Taiwan.
National pavilion of Pakistan is also expected. At the moment more than 190 companies confirmed their participation in the Fair. They include such leaders of the Russian market as DECOLUX, Uyut, Rich Art, Teatr Tkaney, Decoline, Livena Lux, Liontex, Hometex; the best collections of foreign market will be presented by Eke, Hefel, Texathenea, Aydin Orme, Sleepwell Kauffmann, Zorlu, etc. In 2013 the General Sponsor of Heimtextil Russia will be Dr. Deco, presenting on the markets of Russia and CIS countries interests of SUPERtextil Holding, which is one of the biggest manufacturers and suppliers of curtain fabrics and related accessories on the Turkish and Russian markets.
International Trade Fair for Home Textiles, Floor Coverings and Interior Furnishings Heimtextil Russia takes place in Moscow in the end of September on the annual basis. The fair has gained the status of an event where professionals can learn the ultimate trends in textile decorations, interior furnishing and wall coverings as Moscow itself becomes increasingly trendy.

New online platform and mobile application
This year Heimtextil Russia is introducing a new online platform, also available as a mobile application for Android and iOS. This application will help you find your way among the large number of exhibitors: visitors will be able to learn the exposition of the fair and plan their schedule correctly. Heimtextil Russia is not only textile; it’s ideas, inspiration, design. Following the traditions of Heimtextil brand as a trendsetter in textile design, Heimtextil Russia is actively developing its creative component, cooperating with professional designers.
This year the Concept Zone of the Fair will be combined with the Fringe program area. Design for this area has been worked out by the designers of KAVER DESIGN studio with participation of the General Media Partner of the Fair ELLE Decoration magazine. The famous European and Russian designers will p e r f o r m t h e i r l e c t u r e s , workshops and seminars. Special guest of the Fringe program is AnneMarie Commandeur, the Dutch designer (stijlinstituut amsterdam design studio), who was responsible for the creation of Heimtextil Trendbook 2013/2014 “Being”. During the first two days of the fair Anne Marie Commandeur will present Heimtextil Trends 2013/2014 “Being”. The famous Moscow designer Milla Rezanova will also participate in the Fringe program with presentation of her project Covi Club.

Turkey has always finds Russia as a good market. As the best alternative for West Europe, Russian market attracts hundreds of Turkish home textile brands and thousands of clothing exporters. “During last year’s exhibition Turkish companies had established many new business connections and we were really happy about it. I liked the organization of the exhibition – it was really good, congratulations,” said Ibrahim Burkay, the then Chairman of Uludag Textile Exporters’ Association, organizer of the Turkish national participation in Heimtextil Russia.

Heimtextil Russia has worked in the direction of development of contract business as well as cooperation with designers. In 2012 collaboration with International Design School within the framework of Pattern Avenue Trend Show concept area gave considerable results: the number of designers and design studios among the exhibition visitors has noticeably increased. In 2013 Heimtextil Russia developed that direction further, attracting to participate in the exhibition more professional designers, who will be able to transmit to the visitors their passion and love to textile.
In 2013 Heimtextil Russia again will be held concurrently with R+T Russia, the International Trade Fair for Roller Shutters, Gates, Windows and Sun Protection Systems. The two complementing expositions will occupy the neighboring halls of Pavilion 1 in IEC Crocus Expo, providing synergy effect for the visitors. Professionals will have an opportunity to visit these two significant events where various architectural and interior decisions will be presented.
