From May 20 to 23, 2025, the Istanbul Expo Center transformed into an exciting hub for the global home textile industry as it hosted HOMETEX 2025. This prestigious event brought together over 700 domestic and international companies, showcasing the latest innovations and trends in home textiles. The fair attracted approximately 175,000 visitors from 135 countries, highlighting its significance as a central meeting point for industry professionals worldwide.
A Showcase of Innovation and Diversity
Spanning 11 halls and covering an expansive area of 200,000 square meters, HOMETEX 2025 featured a diverse range of products, including curtains, upholstery fabrics, bedroom textiles, towels, bath products, wall coverings, carpets, and kitchen and dining room textiles. The fair served as a platform for companies to unveil their latest collections and innovative designs, catering to the evolving demands of the global market.
Facilitating Global Business Connections
Organized by KFA Fuarcılık, a subsidiary of the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO), under the auspices of the Turkish Home Textile Industrialists and Businessmen Association (TETSİAD), HOMETEX 2025 facilitated numerous business meetings and networking opportunities.
Thousands of business professionals from various sectors, including importers, exporters, manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, and designers, engaged in productive discussions, contributing to the sector’s and the country’s economic development.
Spotlight on Trends and Sustainability
HOMETEX 2025 emphasized the importance of sustainability and innovation in the home textile industry. The fair featured trend areas and thematic exhibitions, such as the “Beyond Boundaries” theme, which showcased the 2026-27 home textile trends. Design hubs and interactive digital art experiences, like the “Anadolu Motifleri” exhibition, provided visitors with insights into the fusion of traditional motifs and modern design approaches.
Looking Ahead to HOMETEX 2026
Building on the success of this year’s event, HOMETEX is set to return to the Istanbul Expo Center from May 19 to 22, 2026. The upcoming edition aims to continue serving as a pivotal platform for the home textile industry, fostering innovation, collaboration, and global business opportunities.
