More than 5000 visitors flocked to Index KSA inaugural edition m
T EDDAH – INDEX KSA, the Saudi Arabian edition Commenting on the success of the exhibition, Jaafar of the region’s largest and longest established interiors Shubber, INDEX KSA 2012 Project Manager, said: “We and design exhibition recorded great success. “We launched INDEX in Saudi Arabia because we believed strongly in the potential of the interior design market in this country but, being as always with the first edition of any show, we were unsure of the response we would
receive from exhibitors and visitors,” added Mr Shubber. “Based on the initial figures and feedback, it was definitely a winning decision and dmg: events is pleased to officially announce that INDEX KSA will be back next year.” This year’s exhibition featured 220 companies from 27 countries including France, Italy, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Malaysia, Taiwan, Korea and Brazil. Six sectors – Lighting, Fumiture, Interiors, Kitchen & Bathroom, Outdoor Living and Textiles – were covered by industry leaders such as Al Mutlaq Fumiture, Amber Gallery, Coleccion Alexandra, Dieffebi, Epoca, Fayek Fumiture, Fine Art Lamps, Meuble El Chark, Roca, and Terzani.
INDEX KSA will return to Jeddah from 11-13 November 2013.
“The Jeddah Centre for Forums and Events was the ideal location for the hustle and büstle of the exhibition. A total of 4500m2 of space was taken by exhibitors at the show, and INDEX KSA has been a constant hive of business and networking activities. Both international and local interior design industry players have had the chance to meet and exchange ideas and solutions for their projects, vvhile taking inspiration from the most recent market trends”, Mr Shubber said.
INDEX International Design Exhibition, the flagship event held annually in Dubai, UAE, for the last 22 years, will run from 24th to 27th September 2012 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
